For those who want to use the Aoba Dog Run

This dog park leases land free of charge from Yokohama City,

It will be a dog run operated by neighborhood volunteers.

 (Extended until the end of March 31st 2025)

Use of and admission to the dog park is only for those people who have 

   participated in the registration briefing session.

    

Rabies and mixed vaccination are effective for one year from the vaccination date 

(i.e. not one year from the renewal date at the dog park).

A maximum of 1 medium or 1 large dog (over 10kg) per person, 

or 2 small dogs per person is allowed.

      

 

* The following scenarios are problematic and should be avoided:

 

(1) Owners who cannot control their dogs.

 

(2) Dogs that get excited easily.

 

(3) Dogs that have not been vaccinated against rabies vaccination

or have not been administered the mixed vaccination.

 

(4) Very large dog breeds and dogs belonging to fighting breeds.

 

(5) Those who do not cooperate fully with the expected operation of the dog park.

 

 

Miscellaneous Information

   

 Use of playground equipment outside of charter hours (11:00-14:00 everyday) is prohibited.

     

 Any trouble that occurs in the dog park must be resolved by the parties concerned.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE

Due to some people not following the rules properly, complaints from other members are increasing. The dog run is strictly for members-only and the rules are in place to ensure the continued safe and fair use by everyone.

 

Anyone found to be deliberately violating the rules will have their membership cancelled and permanently barred from reregistering.

Reservation of registration briefing session

New registration from 2023 has been changed to a reservation system. by email      

  * Next registration will be held on  To be scheduled  2024,  20 new members only
  * We will not reply to inquiries about the next registration briefing.

 The registration briefing venue is [Yamoto Park Meeting room (Rest House) ]
  * Dogs are not allowed inside the venue
* Membership cards will not be issued for those who do not attend the briefing session 
   in person (this includes people who choose to wait outside during the session).

* Only those who have been issued a membership card can use the dog run.

Registration session will be in Japanese so please visit with someone who understands Japanese will be helpful or read [For those who want to use the Aoba Dog Run].

Registration 09:30am-09:50am 

* Information session/Membership card issuance will take place between 10:00am-11:00am

* If you are a new member and can help prepare for the briefing session,                                     please gather at 9:00am.

* Also, we ask for the cooperation of those who can help clean up after the briefing. 

 Information session starts 10:00am  Late admission is not permitted.

Please fill in the registration application form (allow yourself plenty of time for this).

Family members must also participate in the information session if they wish to register for the dog run.

Those who have added dogs and have been registered for one year will also participate in the briefing session (for revision of the handbook).

AS ABOVE, PLEASE TAKE NOTE

* If you do not attend the registration briefing, you will not be issued a membership card.


* Please be aware membership cards may not be shared and therefore cannot be 
   used by anyone other than the registered individual.

 

Start to use

Your new membership card will be available at 14:00 on the day of the briefing session.
 
* 11:00-14:00 every day the dog run is only available for single family 
  (or individual) pre-booked private sessions.

What you need to register

(1) Dog tag (kansatsu) 

(2) Rabies vaccination slip (both numbered), or the latest rabies tag. 

rabies vaccination will be started from the end of March (depend on your vet) and 
the tag will be provided at the same time.   


(3) Vaccination certificate

One individual photo per dog is required if you wish to register multiple dogs.

Please prepare one photo of your dog for each person who will attend the briefing session.

If your documents are incomplete, it may delay your ability to start using the service.

* Reiwa 5 (2023) tag is red and Reiwa 5 (2024) tag is blue

A mixed vaccination certificate (3 or more types) with a vaccination date is required

* Antibody test report cannot be accepted.


(4) Photo of your dog (3 cm x 3 cm) for members cards.

(5) Owner's ID

- Driver's license, Insurance card, My Number card, etc.

  (limited to those with an address written on the back).

(6) Registration fee (1,000 yen per user / 1,000 yen per dog)

* A registration fee will only be charged for those over 16 years old.

Bring your own writing utensils, glue, scissors, etc. to make your ID card.
